By the end of August, the 35 kv transformer substation, which has a capacity of 16,000 kva, had operated safely for 1,000 days, thanks to the collective effort of both leaders and employees. The branch now has two 35 kv transformer lines, one with a 6,300-kva capacity that went into production at the end of the 1980s, the other with a 16,000-kva capacity that was completed and in use in October of 2008. The latter mainly provides power for the 1-million-ton coking unit which went into operation at the end of 2008. The substation is connected to the Jinan high-voltage power network and provides electricity for corporate production. Since 2007, when team building began, the substation has seen the corporate landscape take on a new look and a new outlook among employees. Staff members have followed rules and regulations carefully, paid a great deal of attention to each detail, and avoided possible accidents. The substation has received many awards, such as the “Advanced Station” title, from the Jinan municipal government.
