The Shandong Huaxing Petrochemical (Group) Co held its first debate on safety production, recently, with sponsorship from its labor union and Youth League, with representatives from the production, logistics, marketing, and finance departments putting their best into the intense, fascinating contest.
The positive side of the debate was “Safety depends mainly on autonomy”, while the negative was “Safety mainly comes from heteronomy”. In sticking to the point and using their actual work experience, the debaters illustrated their ideas incisively and vividly through informative, eloquent argumentation. The activity reflected a good understanding of safe production and even gave employees a better understanding of safety.
The activity also pointed to the importance of autonomy and the necessity of heteronomy in safe production and the need for an efficient safety system.
