The Shandong Changyi Petrochemical Co has been cooperation with the China University of Petroleum in finding ways to improve its employee training and recently acquired more books to do just that.
The materials cover such areas as Petroleum Refining Engineering, the Safe Operation and Management of Catalytic Units, and Questions and Answers concerning Catalytic Reforming Unit Technology.
Copies of Petroleum Refining Engineering have already been made available to all departments of the company. It covers a wide range of topics, from petroleum refining to catalytic reforming unit technology, to the safe operation of catalytic reforming units. The textbooks are just one part of the plan to improve occupational ability overall and expand employees’ scope of knowledge.
After a recent skills contest, they began studying more and improving themselves and the human resources department has found ways to stimulate their learning interest and improve the training program. The distributed books are meant to improve operation skills improving the ability to analyze and solve problems and deal with emergencies.
HR will further promote the learning process and work to improve employee skills. The 2013 training plan calls for more lectures and activities for the employees.
