There are many workers and cross-operations at unit areas of oil refining companies during overhauls. To ensure work safety and increase worker awareness of the risks involved, Qingdao Anbang Refining has enhanced its management of 11 operation tickets, keeping track of them to raise the safety management ability and bring the risks and hazards of various operations down to a minimum.

The 11 tickets cover work high above the ground or involving fire, hoisting, groundbreaking operations, maintenance, operations on blind plates or in restricted space, temporary electricity use, radiographic inspection, and driving into fire and explosion protection zones. The company has assigned special personnel to review the approval process of these tickets, making security risk analysis in advance and supervising the implementation of safety measures. The assigned personnel will keep a comprehensive track of every single operation and call a halt to any violations, correcting them and dealing out corresponding fines.

According to the company’s statistics, the company had 393 operations involving fire, 101 in restricted space, 82 hoisting and 21 groundbreaking operations, and 507 vehicles driving into the fire and explosion protection area during the first half of the year. The company’s over 1,000 ticket approvals indicate the company’s thorough performance. Its standardized management and conscientious work attitude has helped the company achieve a zero accident record for the period.
