The Daqing Zhonglan Co, with help from the Daqing Environmental Protection Bureau, recently got approval for an online sewage monitoring equipment check, after more than a year's trial operations.
The device is expected to help control the emission of pollutants and increase the company's environmental protection.
In its attempt to increase development in recent years, the company has also paid attention to environmental protection and had spent more than 40 million yuan ($6.3 million) over the past three years on renovating its sewage treatment plant and establishing new facilities.
The company has also bought some fluidized bed boilers with smaller amounts of pollutants and higher heat efficiency, and has used electric precipitation and bag filter to clean the exhaust gas.
In addition, it has taken noise reduction steps to meet noise standards and has formed a tri-level environmental management network that can control emissions while improving society, the environment and the economy.
