There was an opening ceremony for a real-time database project on Oct 28, 2011 at Changyi Petrochemical to show that the company's informatization work has reached a higher level.
The real-time database system uses real-time control and data acquisition systems through software programming and hardware interfaces and can monitor control systems and optimize controls. It can also provide data management services for a company in production management and scheduling, data analysis, decision support and remote online browsing.
Zhang Shusheng, Changyi's deputy general manager, said that the real-time database will play an important role in improving the company's informatization construction and building a brand nationwide.
