Changyi Petrochemical recently put its queue management system into operation. The system makes it easier for customers to wait in line and for the company to control vehicles and oil uploading operations.
The company put two automatic numbering machines at the sales hall, and followed the rule of first come, first serve. Customers can get a number by putting in their ID and license plate numbers, so they don’t have to stand in front of the window waiting or be disturbed by queue jumpers. The company set up a special window for e-business customers so they can save a lot of time waiting. There’s also a voice system to broadcast the queue movement so customers can estimate how much time they have to wait. At the same time, the queue development information will be shown at big screens at the entrance of the company and the hall. A text message service is also available to alert customers to enter the plant or upload oil so they won’t miss the time. A special service window was added to explain various questions for customers who aren’t familiar with the new system.
