Zhenghe Group recently enhanced emergency planning and flood prevention material preparation to ensure safe summer production.
The company formulated safe production and emergency plans, and arranged for employees to study them. It asked all departments to carry out emergency drills, step up inspection of heat exchangers, clean air cooling and heat exchanging equipment, and launch comprehensive inspection on flood prevention equipment and materials.
The company’s production department implemented the inspection, which showed that the plans were well-considered and that employees fully understood the plans. The company has 40,000 woven bags, 48 shovels and three fire pumps for possible floods. It also has discharge pumps at the storage and transportation and operation departments. Each operation office has an immersible pump on tap, and the safety and environmental protection department has a mobile fire pump available for emergencies. The company asked all sections to put on butterfly bamper and clean out ditches for smooth rainwater discharge. The production department also urged operation departments to address pending problems within a prescribed deadline.
If faced with high temperatures, storms, thunder and gales, heads of operation departments and major officials should stay in the master-control room to guide and coordinate productions. They should also ensure safety unit operations, standard discharge and completion of production task.
