Changyi Petrochemical recently carried out an energy management system internal audit and has completed audits of 19 departments involved in energy use. The company will rectify problems found in the audit and plans to pass superior department review by the end of this year.
The company initiated energy management system building work last December to upgrade energy management. It hired a professional consulting company for assistance. It comprehensively sorted out energy use and management by various departments and finished energy factor identification and evaluation, energy management law and regulation collection, and compliance evaluation. The company has settled on an energy management goal, indicator, benchmark and policy. It has issued a management handbook and a program file.
