Zhenghe Group's electro-desalting acceptance rate reached 83.33 percent at the end of October, meeting ChemChina Petrochemical's requirements. The performance also effectively reduced corrosion against production and follow-up units.
ChemChina Petrochemical held an electro-desalting operation meeting in September and demanded a desalting result of 3mg per liter and acceptance rate of more than 80 percent. Zhenghe Group's production, technology quality and operation departments held a special meeting afterwards, discussed how to achieve ChemChina Petrochemical's requirements, and formulated relevant measures. An ad hoc electro-desalting team was established after the meeting. The team strictly carried out operating instructions; paid attention to raw oil temperature, mixed differential pressure, water injection, demulsifier input and other operating parameters; and made timely adjustments. At the same time, the team strengthened communications with demulsifier manufacturers to understand real-time production performance and demulsifier efficiency. Relevant departments also paid more attention to electro-desalting operations.
