Huaxing Petrochemical's 2-million-ton-per-year catalytic unit's flue gas desulfurization and denitrification project is under intense construction, and the main equipment is in the hoisting phase. The project is in line with the 2011-2015 national development plan and is one of the national strategic major projects. The sulfur removal unit applied Germany-based GEA Bischoff's desulfurization and dust removal integration technology, and the denitration part adopted SCR flue gas denitration technology. The project can bring down sulfur dioxide emission concentration below 200 mg/Nm and nitrogen oxide emission concentration below 100 mg/Nm. It can effectively reduce sulfur dioxide and dust emission, play an important role in helping Huaxing evolve into an environmentally-friendly enterprise, and create a new green image.
