Daqing Zhonglan's e-purchase platform has brought adjunct purchase costs down by 501,000 yuan ($80,500) from June to October. The company's expenditure on catalysts, solvents and additives was reduced by more than 180,000 yuan month-on-month in November.
The purchased adjuncts covered 11 varieties, all of which were purchased on the e-commerce platform framework agreement. On one hand, the platform enables purchasers to have more time to focus on market and price analysis. On the other hand, it helps relevant personnel consider production needs and take the prescribed purchasing strategy and measures to bring down costs on a monthly basis. The company's expenditure on catalysts, solvents and additives was reduced by more than 180,000 yuan month-on-month in November. In particular, non-metallic antiknock and catalytic yield-improving agents saw price per ton drop significantly, while nine other adjuncts also witnessed various reductions in unit purchasing price.
