Zhenghe Group has overcome difficulties and challenges brought by the Huangdaogang-Weifang pipeline accident, unit overhaul, falling oil product prices and the slack market this year. It has actively adjusted production and achieved positive results. The company’s annual processing volume rose 17.01 percent by the end of November as compared with the same period last year.
Zhenghe has focused on the balance between raw materials, sulfur and hydrogen. It has also adjusted sulfur and acid values of crude oil before entering the atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit to maximally bring down production risks and ensure steady production of major units at the maximum load.
The raw materials to be processed involved dozens of crude oils from Angola, Oman, Huizhou and Panyu. Therefore, the processing formula had to be adjusted in time to deal with the different nature of raw materials and bring down costs by adding some merey crude oil. At the same time, the company has established a database concerning crude oil nature, product yield and device operating parameters, which offers references for future operations and effectively increased the total annual processing volume.
