Changyi Petrochemical’s e-commerce platform saw a total of 419 registered members in just three months since it launched on Sept 24, with 676 million yuan ($108.65 million) in sales.
The company has exerted great efforts in guiding customers to use the platform. It led regular customers to the platform with text messages, phone calls, Tencent’s instant messaging program and WeChat tools. It also integrated online promotion, such as the company’s official WeChat account and online forum, with phone communications for new customers. The measures have produced significant results. The nonstop promotion and publicity work has helped rapidly increase the number of online registered members in two months.
