The tail gas recycling awn of Tianjin Petrochemical's sewage aeration tank was recently put in place on Dec 17 after intense construction for more than half a month. It was part of the company's tail gas recovery project. Completion of the tail gas recycling system marked that Tianjin Petrochemical is halfway through the project's major equipment installation work.
The company will focus on finishing the project's installation and debugging in 2014. It has worked closely with equipment manufacturers and construction personnel, and built a green channel to ensure smooth development of the project's construction work. The construction personnel put in awning made of glass reinforced plastics after dismantling the original guardrail and arranged extraction openings. They immediately hoisted the major equipment after they were delivered and set about installing accessory equipment afterwards.
The sewage and tail gas treatment project will be put into test run after relevant equipment is in place. The application of biological technology means that the optimum operation effect will come in two months after the test run. The project will not need to renew the biotreatment unit, making for long-term stable operations. At the moment, the construction personnel are working around the clock to install relevant equipment and will strive to have the project up and running by the end of 2014.
