ChemChina Logistics has launched a post-payment model for expressway toll charges. The new model replaced the pre-stored model, raised the fund utilization rate and streamlined the expressway toll payment procedure.
ChemChina Logistics integrated logistics motorcades of Changyi Petrochemical and Qingdao Anbang in 2013 and established a transportation department in June 2014. It marked a milestone in the company's development in the dangerous chemical transportation business. The company conducted thorough studies on the market at the beginning to understand market demands. It tested the motorcade management model in various ways to increase efficiency. At the moment, the post-payment model has successfully been up and running.
Money has to be deposited first for later consumption in the past management model. It caused a large amount of capital to be retained as expressway toll payments due to frequent rescheduled transportation plans. In addition, it took extra time for the pre-stored money to reach bank accounts before the payment could come through, which lowered operation efficiency.
The new payment model has not only realized efficient use of money, but has also raised logistics transportation efficiency. It also helped strengthen the supervision of expressway toll costs, making the whole payment process more transparent and standard.
