The Spring Buds Program advocated by Changyi Municipal Women's Association is highly responded by Changyi Petrochemical. As much as 9,000 RMB are donated within less than 3 days.
The program is organized by China's Children Fund under the advocacy of National Women's Association. It is a public welfare undertaking implemented to help girls who drop out or nearly drop out to return school. The idea that “caring the girls is as same as caring the future mothers, the quality of mother will determine the whole nation’s future quality as well as a basic project benefiting our offspring” is proposed by the program.
There are more poor families in places like Hou Wuta, Longchi which are located at the interval between Changyi city and other remote rural areas. Girls from these poor families are under the edge of quitting school. At the beginning of every school season, there is a lot of girls troubled by the living and school costs. During the donation, the General Manager Zhang Shusheng takes the lead to donate 5 children. Other staff and personnel from the volunteer league also participate in the love transmission activity actively. A symphony is played loudly by Changyi Chemical to help more students complete their school period.
