On March 8, ChemChina Petrochemical held its 2018 Energy Saving Seminar in Guangrao, Shandong Province. Themed with “Strengthening Management, Continuous improvement, Cost Reduction and Efficiency Increase,” the Seminar offered a platform to comprehensively summarize and analyze the energy saving of the Petrochemical system in 2017, commended excellent individuals in energy saving, put forward requirements for energy saving in 2018, and find out the proper positioning and direction for development.
On the Seminar, energy saving status of each enterprise was sorted out, and the merits and shortcomings of each enterprise were analyzed and discussed. Experts from energy-saving companies offered suggestions for each enterprise’s energy saving work, and had in-depth technical communication with them on energy-saving projects with common natures. Communicating with each other without any limitation, all participating enterprises achieved their goal of work experience sharing.
Guided by the spirit of the Seminar, enterprises in the petrochemical system will continue to benchmark with the advanced industry, and place focus on key elements for stable and optimized operation of the plant, especially on new challenges arising after the oil quality upgrading projects are put into production. Meanwhile, they vigorously optimize the processes and improve the work, continuously increase the yield, reduce the consumption and eliminate the bottleneck of the unit, with plant-wide energy saving as the main task, thus pushing the energy saving work in 2018 to a new stage.
