ChemChina Petrochemical’s 2015 work conference was held in Beijing. The meeting looked back on work development last year and deployed various work tasks for 2015. Wu Hong, general manager of ChemChina Petrochemical, made an annual work report on strengthening operation control and lean management and continuously raising corporate profitability and development quality. Ren Jianxi, president of ChemChina, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. A total of 83 people were present at the meeting, including leadership of ChemChina Petrochemical and personnel above the assistant director level at various departments, heads of finance, production, supply, sales and e-commerce divisions.
ChemChina Petrochemical followed ChemChina’s leadership in 2014, actively coped with negative influence from the slumping international oil price, strengthened practical operation control and lean management, unswervingly improved profitability and development quality, and finished various work targets. The company realized growth in operation revenue and profit, as well as steady environmental protection work, with no major accidents. Its main technical and economic indicators continued to rise, and product structure was optimized. Raw materials supply remained safe and stable, and logistics costs and normal losses were brought down significantly. Overseas business witnessed rapid development. Sales management continued to rise, and the e-purchase platform was popularized. The company actively carried out the second Party Mass Line activities, and the four-in-one supervision system gradually improved.
The petrochemical company will follow ChemChina’s overall work arrangement for 2015, focus on improving quality and profit, actively explore the establishment of a mature business model, and accelerate the development of an effective incentive and restraint mechanism. The meeting made work arrangements in nine aspects for the company and specified work requirements.
