A flue gas emission online test system for a sulfur unit at Zhenghe Group's operation department was recently launched. It was the third of its kind in the company.
Zhenghe followed the Dongying environmental protection bureau's requirements and built an annular steel platform and a 24-meter steel staircase on the existing sulfur chimney. The move aimed for better supervision and control of the sulfur unit's flue gas emission and helped adjust technological parameters and optimize operations based on real-time data. The system will monitor sulfide and nitric oxide.
