Tianjin Petrochemical passed the second round of clean production review by the Tianjin government at the end of January 2015.
The company implemented comprehensive energy utilization optimization and renovated reactor nozzles, external power supply equipment, device heating lines and the groundwater line switchover. It greatly brought down comprehensive energy consumption, fuel energy use and pollutant emissions. The company improved the circulating water use ratio and brought down power consumption by energy-guzzling equipment through optimizing the technical process and strengthening management. In addition, it conducted oil vapor recovery and tail gas governance to ensure clean production.
