ChemChina Logistics has worked closely with China Overseas Harbor Affairs and Changyi Petrochemical since the beginning of this year. It uploaded 12 oil product ships in January. A total of eight ships were uploaded immediately after their arrival.
The ChemChina Logistics business department has regularly sent daily product tank conditions to sales departments so it can get a handle on oil stocks and make oil products transport plans for sales. The move has helped maximize use of tank capacity and make efficient shipping plans.
The business department has maintained information exchanges with China Overseas Harbor Affairs' marketing and oils departments every day to receive updates on weather conditions and berth use. It also received berthing plans several days ahead in order to make plans.
